An exciting opportunity is available to join the Oncology & Palliative Care specialties at North Middlesex University Hospital, part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, as a Consultant Psychologist led service.
This post is suitable for a Lead Practitioner Psychologist in Oncology with experience in physical health settings and medical teams, ideally familiar with the needs of patients in Oncology & Palliative Care services. An interest in collaborative work to promote psychologically informed practice is essential. The role offers opportunities for career development, including leading projects, pathway development, and consultancy.
The post holder will likely be based at North Middlesex University Hospital, focusing initially on inpatient and outpatient care. Responsibilities include teaching, supervision, and supporting nursing colleagues to promote psychologically informed care within oncology and palliative care. Supervisory duties for trainees and junior staff may also be part of the role.
