Carrington West is seeking experienced Principal Electrical Engineers to support a major defence programme in the UK. The role focuses on power systems design, modelling and technical assurance for AC/DC distribution, generation and protection coordination.

Hybrid work with two days on-site every two weeks at Barrow or Bristol, offering an excellent hourly rate for a challenging engineering programme. The role suits Senior/Lead/Principal engineers with lifecycle, documentation and leadership

Formación

• Senior/Lead/Principal level experience in complex engineering projects.
• Knowledge of power systems architecture, modelling or distribution.
• Experience with generation, protection or switchgear."
• Lifecycle thinking including specification, calculations and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and analyse electrical power systems architecture and design solutions.
• Lead technical deliverables and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce specifications, calculations and design documentation.
• Ensure safety, standards and regulatory compliance.
• Support design reviews, verification and validation activities.
