Job Title: Principal Power Systems Electrical Engineer

Salary: up to £55,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Location: Barrow in Furness, Bristol, Brough, Portsmouth, Weymouth, Frimley or Manchester

The role can be based at any of the following sites: Barrow in Furness, Bristol, Brough, Portsmouth, Weymouth, Frimley or Manchester and offers the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system, conducting analysis, and performing calculations to support the maturity and design of the electrical platform.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Conducting load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of an electrical power system
2. Management and analysis of the electrical load budget
3. Developing and validating electrical models
4. Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the power system
5. Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations communicating results and advising recommendations
