Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Principal Podiatrist to provide strategic and operational leadership of the award-winning multidisciplinary diabetic foot service. You will lead a skilled podiatry team and work with diabetes, vascular surgery and orthopaedics colleagues in outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role combines clinical practice with research, innovation and service development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the diabetic foot service with a multidisciplinary team
• Oversee clinical governance, quality improvement and research activities
• Drive service development, workforce planning and financial performance
• Collaborate with diabetes, vascular surgery and orthopaedics teams to optimise patient outcomes
• Mentor and develop podiatrists and allied staff for professional growth
