Principal Planning Officer

Grade 5 £41,511 - £49,764; Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working hours: 36.5 hours per week
Location: Council House, Birmingham / Hybrid
As part of the Planning Policy team, you will contribute to preparing and implementing the Birmingham Local Plan and other statutory planning documents. You will be a key member of the strategic planning team, leading on policy areas and sites. Your role involves working in partnership with both the public and private sectors, engaging stakeholders in project development and delivery, and supporting the Planning Management Service in the planning application and appeals process.
