Qualifications

Service Care Legal are currently working alongside an popular local authority, based inGreater London, which is seeking an experiencedPrinciple Planning Solicitorto join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career and gain experience in the legal industry.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella Rate:£50-£60ph DOE
PAYE (Inc.Hol): £44.48 - £53.27ph DOE

This role is on a contract basis for 3 months but has potential to extend.

Responsibilities as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:

  • To provide expert legal advice, assistance and support to the Council in the areas of specialism of the post at a complex/high profile level.
  • Able to handle high caseload in Planning and Highway from start to completion.
  • Act as Deputy Monitoring Officer in the absence of the Head of Legal Services


About you as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Powerful understanding of planning laws, zoning regulations, land use policies, and highway regulations.

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with at least 7+ years PQE in Planning law.
