A leading company in planning is seeking a candidate for a maternity cover role, focusing on major planning applications and team management. The position offers hybrid working arrangements, requiring attendance at the office once or twice a week. The successful candidate will manage a team and ensure efficient processing of applications while providing professional advice to stakeholders.
Maternity Cover: 9-12 months, depending on employee return date.
We offer hybrid working arrangements; ideally, candidates should attend our offices once or twice a week. This can be discussed further at interview.
Attendance at Planning Committee meetings and site visits, which occur once a month, will be required.
The post holder will handle major and complex planning applications and will line manage a team of Planning Officers.
Candidates should have a Degree or equivalent in Town and Planning or a related discipline, be members of the RTPI, and possess extensive knowledge and experience in development management processes.
