Job description

Job Title: Principal Planner

The main roles of the Principal Planner are to:

  • Take responsibility, as directed by the Planning and Building Standards Team Leader, for processing and administering planning applications.
  • Lead negotiations on developer contributions.
  • Oversee the effective monitoring of developments and handle consequential enforcement actions.
  • Contribute to service work on Local Development Planning and Placemaking.
