The Planning Service is at the forefront of facilitating growth, place making and delivering development that meets the needs of all our diverse communities.
There will be opportunities to join our east and west area teams, to lead on major and strategic development schemes, working with the private sector and our partners to deliver regeneration and growth.One role will be the planning lead for the Council's house building programme and associated projects. In this role you will steering schemes through feasibility and pre-app stages through to final decision, with an overarching Planning Performance Agreement.
Principal Planners will have opportunities to mentor other team members and contribute to the management of their teams.
