Job summary

FutureGen Recruitment is seeking a Principal Planner in Crawley. The role offers direct exposure to developers, landowners and multidisciplinary project teams and a hybrid working pattern with a strong salary package.

You will manage a workload spanning housing, commercial, airport-related development, regeneration and appeals, guiding projects through from instruction to commercial decisions while mentoring junior staff.

Principal Planner

Crawley | £45,000–£56,000

Our client has a strong pipeline of development work across the South East and is looking to appoint a Principal Planner in Crawley. The role offers direct exposure to developers, landowners and multidisciplinary project teams.

The team’s workload covers housing, commercial, airport-related development, regeneration and appeals. You will not be restricted to one narrow stage of the planning process; the intention is for you to see instructions through and understand the commercial decisions behind them.

Package and working arrangements

The salary is £45,000–£56,000. The wider package includes hybrid working, pension, bonus, subscriptions and progression to Associate. Exact arrangements will depend on experience and will be discussed openly during the process.
