Principal Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a large and highly regarded Development Consultancy on the appointment of a Principal Planner for their team in Bristol. This role will focus on energy projects and is a permanent role.

The successful Principal Planner will join a team of highly experienced experts in the energy sector covering developments ranging from solar power, battery storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, tidal power, energy from waste and on and offshore wind including the associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead planning projects in the energy sector.
2. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
3. Prepare and present planning applications and reports.
4. Provide expert advice on planning policies and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

The applying Principal Planner should hold/be able to demonstrate the following:

1. MRTPI or working towards it;
2. Experience in the energy sector;
3. Enthusiastic and professional;
4. Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
