Principal Performance and Assurance Manager

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Principal Performance and Assurance Manager to join our Senior Management Team in Area 10. Based across the North West of England, specifically in Runcorn, Warrington, West Houghton, Milnrow, or Hale, you will work closely with our client, National Highways, to ensure effective performance and assurance of operations across structures.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure compliance with H&S, Environmental, Quality, Transport & Depots standards.
• Identify and mitigate performance and compliance risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with National Highways and other stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, industry standards, and regulations.
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated with relevant laws and standards, and update policies accordingly.
• Develop risk management strategies to ensure safety and prevent incidents.
• Monitor and report on contract performance.
• Provide training on compliance matters and foster a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability.
