Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead and shape OT Cybersecurity capabilities for critical national infrastructure across GB & Ireland. You will drive cybersecurity assessments, architecture reviews, and maturity engagements while mentoring peers and expanding consulting services.

The role requires deep OT/ICS experience, customer-facing leadership, and the ability to develop trusted advisory relationships with utilities and operators in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within OT or ICS.
• Experience delivering OT cybersecurity consulting.
• A degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as ISA/IEC 62443 Expert, GICSP, CISSP, or GIAC (desirable).
• Experience supporting owners or operators of Critical Power Infrastructure.
• Experience leading customer-facing consulting engagements.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs, OT networking, IEC 62443, NIS/NIS2, and CAF.
• Ability to build trusted customer relationships and identify follow-on consulting opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Produce consultancy-grade reports with pragmatic recommendations for executive stakeholders.

• Support strategic pursuits, proposals, and customer engagements.
• Develop new consulting services aligned to emerging market and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a high-performing consulting practice.
• Represent the business through conferences, working groups, and industry forums.

You'll make an impact by:

Your success is grounded in:

• Significant experience within Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
• Experience delivering OT Cybersecurity consulting
• A degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Professional certifications such as ISA/IEC 62443 Expert, GICSP, CISSP, or GIAC (desirable)
• Experience in supporting owners or operators of Critical Power Infrastructure
• Experience leading customer-facing consulting engagements
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs, OT networking, IEC 62443, NIS/NIS2, and CAF
• Ability to build trusted customer relationships and identify follow-on consulting opportunities

Eligibility Requirements:

• Eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
• Able to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) and satisfy customer-specific vetting where required
• Willing to travel throughout Great Britain & Ireland
