Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Principal Oracle EPM Cloud Planning Consultant to lead strategic planning transformations across government, public sector and enterprise clients in the UK. You will act as a trusted advisor, technical authority, and programme leader, shaping enterprise planning strategies in collaboration with CFOs and senior sponsors.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Oracle EPM Cloud Planning (PBCS/EPBCS) experience.
• Proven leadership of large, multi-stream planning transformations.
• Strong technical expertise in planning models, calculations, dashboards, and integrations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior finance stakeholders.
• Ability to influence decisions, manage complexity, and deliver under pressure.
• Experience mentoring consultants and leading delivery teams.
• Exposure to pre-sales and bid activity.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of large-scale Oracle EPM Cloud Planning programmes.
• Lead multiple workstreams with delivery across scope, timelines and quality.
• Provide governance, risk management and executive-level reporting.
• Act as principal design authority for EPM Cloud Planning and drive architecture across models and forms.
• Drive connected planning solutions across Finance, FP&A, and operations.
• Review delivery quality and mentor senior consultants.
• Lead client workshops and translate complex solutions into business narratives.
