Job Title:
Principal Or Senior Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer

Location:
Ivybridge, Devon

Salary:
Principal: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
Senior: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum

Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent with an initial six-month probation period

Working hours:
37.5 hours/week - Monday to Friday (part time also considered)

We seek a Principal or Senior Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our friendly team based in Ivybridge, Devon, working on a diverse range of exciting and complex Geotechnical and Contaminated Land projects across the beautiful Southwest region.

The Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for technical leadership, project delivery, and supporting junior team members in a range of geotechnical and environmental services, including:

1. Planning, procuring, and managing ground investigations, including trial pits, boreholes, windowless sampling and in-situ testing
2. Design and interpretation of geotechnical investigations to support structural and civil design
3. Logging to BS5930 and sampling of soils, rocks, and groundwater
4. Design and interpretation of geotechnical reports and assessments
