Senior or Principal Engineer (Core Shoring Team)

Location: Coatbridge, Scotland

Salary: Up to £50,000

About the Role:

Are you ready to take on an exciting role with a leading company in the construction sector? Our client operates a fleet of rental equipment, largely comprising structural support products, designed and arranged into configurations to provide temporary works solutions for their clients. As a Senior or Principal Engineer, you will be in a senior role within the core shoring team, providing and checking high-quality designs. The core shoring team provides temporary works designs and technical support for the UK and Ireland.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience with the design of temporary works in accordance with relevant standards.
• Skills: Competence in both structural and geotechnical design. Ability to produce high-quality design solutions, manage workloads, and provide technical support. Strong communication skills internally and externally, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Qualifications: IEng desirable but not essential (dependent on seniority), Full Driving License, proficiency in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD, Design software (Wallap, CADs), MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
