About the role

We are seeking a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Bristol team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established reputation for delivering outstanding design on built environment projects across Bristol, the Southwest, and beyond. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and consultants, supporting a high-performance, flexible, and supportive work culture.

Our Bristol office hosts more than MEP engineers and a range of specialist disciplines. As a Principal / Associate Engineer, you will support and deliver designs for various projects, working with clients and securing new business, while developing a team of talented professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing the technical delivery of electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Leading the development of strategic concepts ensuring solutions meet the brief and standards.
• Engaging with stakeholders, attending meetings, and translating project briefs within the team.
• Monitoring project budgets, resources, and work quality.
• Mentoring apprentices and graduates, supporting their development.

About you

You should have:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with a record of delivering complex projects.
• Experience with technical delivery processes and software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux.
• Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a consultancy role.
• Self-awareness, openness, and a collaborative spirit.
• Experience supporting others' development.
