Principal or Associate Civil Engineer - Development Infrastructure

Access Talent Group are currently seeking a skilled Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a new and developing team in the West Midlands, United Kingdom.

You will be joining a growing team working on a diverse range of projects from local community infrastructure schemes to strategic national projects. They currently have a range of developments from 100 unit and a 10,000 urban development extension. They also have a number of schemes in the care home and industrial sector. Our client is looking for a Principal or Associate to come in and hit the ground running, managing the team, running projects, and meeting clients and stakeholders. You will have previous experience in managing a team, workload, budgets, and overall leadership skills to get the best out of your team. Experience in residential or overall development infrastructure is beneficial.

They have one office with an extensive Civils team in the North West of England and will be looking for this individual to develop Junior Engineers, have a say in project work, and carve your own future. About You:

• BEng or preferably Meng in Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification
• Chartership with CEng to enable sign off of project work
• Experience with Civil Infrastructure design, including road design, below and surface water drainage, plot drainage, cut and fill
• Experience with Section 104, Section 106, and Section 38 applications; experience with Section 278 is not essential
• Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D / PDS / Site 3D, and Microdrainage or Causeway flow
• Excellent team management and mentoring skills
• Proven UK development infrastructure experience
• Desirable to have project management experience while maintaining a design background
