Job summary

Moorfields Eye Hospital is expanding its Sparc services and seeks a Principal Optometrist to join the Single Point of Access team in sessions across London. You will deliver highly specialist ophthalmic care and contribute to referrals management within a leading hospital service.

The role requires hospital-based experience and higher qualifications from the College of Optometrists or progress toward them, with clinical governance responsibilities and opportunities for research and education

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital optometry service.
• Higher qualifications from the College of Optometrists or currently pursuing them.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient referrals across ophthalmic sub-specialties.
• Provide clinical governance and pathway oversight within Sparc.
• Contribute to service redesign and data insights from referrals.
