A local healthcare authority in Maidenhead seeks a Principal Occupational Therapist to lead OT practice across Adult Social Care. As Principal Occupational Therapist, you will lead and influence professional OT practice across Adult Social Care at RBWM and Optalis. You will work closely with the Deputy Director, Principal Social Worker, and Head of Quality and Safeguarding to shape professional standards, support reflective practice, and ensure statutory responsibilities are met with integrity and compassion.
You will provide strategic oversight, clinical leadership, and operational supervision to Senior OTs, while driving service improvement and integration across two organisations.
You will play a key role in embedding RBWM’s strategic priorities: building inclusive, healthy communities, delivering high-quality, compassionate services, and promoting prevention, choice, and community connection.
