What you'll be doing:

We're expanding our Nuclear Safety and Regulation Team to support major programmes of strategic and international importance. We're looking for individuals with experience in activities such as:

1. Advising leaders on nuclear legislation, site license applications, and regulatory requirements
2. Supporting relationships with regulatory bodies and deploying interface management arrangements
3. Delivering nuclear safety governance, assurance frameworks, and independent oversight
4. Developing and maintaining the nuclear baseline and organizational change processes
5. Supporting nuclear competence assessments and training solutions
6. Implementing compliance operating models for nuclear/radiological safety and developing management arrangements
7. Preparing nuclear safety documentation, including safety cases
8. Supporting end-users with safety case requirements
9. Providing radiological protection advice
10. Promoting a strong nuclear safety culture through leadership

Your skills and experiences:

• Knowledge of nuclear safety legislation, licensing, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience with goal-setting regulation and good practice application
• Understanding of safety policy, governance, and challenge mechanisms
• Experience in regulatory interface management and permissioning
• Familiarity with management systems and compliance assurance
• Experience with event reporting and operational feedback systems
• Development of nuclear capabilities and organizational change management
• Competency-based training frameworks using SAT
• Safety case development and implementation methodologies
• Knowledge of radiological protection and waste management
