Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Principal Network Platform Lead to own the architecture and software platform powering our global backbone and edge networks. You will shape the platform strategy, drive automation, and deliver scalable services through APIs and orchestration, partnering across Product, Architecture, Sales Engineering, and regional teams.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep experience in network automation, cloud-native development, and API design.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of platform engineering and/or network automation experience.
• Strong Python/Go software engineering skills.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, gRPC, or similar interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud-native application development.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, roadmap, and operation of the Network Platform.
• Design service orchestration capabilities and APIs for automated lifecycle of network services.
• Lead production software development, CI/CD, testing, and operator tooling.
• Mentor engineers and set platform standards for reliability and performance.
