Job Title: Principal Network Engineer

Salary: £115,000 + 7% annual bonus

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Overview

Are you a highly experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in diverse infrastructure environments? We're looking for a Principal Network Engineer to champion a TechOps-first approach across both cloud and on-premise setups.

This is a senior‑level role, ideal for someone who has led multiple simultaneous projects involving both legacy systems and modern infrastructure migrations. Expertise in Palo Alto and Next‑Gen Firewalls is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, deployment, and support of systems and network infrastructure.
  • Ensure high availability, observability, and infosec within hosted environments.
  • Work across switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, compute, storage, and virtualization.
  • Support cloud (multi‑vendor) and on‑prem data centre operations.
  • Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
