Due to recent successes and new projects, Stantec is looking to recruit a Principal Mechanical Engineer into our Energy & Resources team. This role can be based in any UK office, ideally reachable from the Midlands.

Working within our Waste and Generation Team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects including EfW plants, district heating, gasification, hydrogen generation, and biogas projects.

You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and optioneering to detailed design and installation, collaborating with clients and teams to develop innovative solutions across various projects.

As designers in the construction, energy, and waste sectors, we prioritize safety and foster a culture of continuous improvement in HSE matters.

Experience in creating specifications, scoping documents, and assessing vendor designs is desirable.

Most importantly, embody and support our values of client focus, community-minded designing, collaboration, and service excellence.
