Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical design projects, with a focus on UK Engineering Design - MEP.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage mechanical design projects, ensuring adherence to UK Engineering Design - MEP standards and regulations.
  2. Develop and review mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  4. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
  5. Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design to consistently improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in UK Engineering Design - MEP, with a focus on mechanical design.
  3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  4. Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC software.
  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing engineering projects.
Day-to-day

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, your day-to-day activities will involve leading and managing mechanical design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting site visits, providing technical guidance, and staying updated with industry advancements.
