The ideal candidate has 9+ years in aerospace mechanical design, with thermal management, GD&T, FEA, EMI/EMC mitigation, and CAD expertise (SolidWorks). Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 9 years of industry experience in electronics packaging design including thermal, vibration, and stress analyses.
• Aerospace industry design, development, and qualification experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with electronics assemblies and PCBAs/CCAs.
• SolidWorks and Ansys proficiency.
• Experience with CNC manufacturing.
• EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of Cesium products through all development phases.
• Collaborate with electronics packaging and suppliers to deliver robust assemblies.
• Present design reviews to customers and executive teams.
