Responsibilities:

• Drive mechanical development efforts from concept generation through to final build and support phases.
• Apply engineering principles and manufacturing best practices to create reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Take ownership of mechanical design packages and coordinate contributions across technical disciplines.
• Support compliance and verification activities, ensuring designs meet environmental and operational criteria.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to refine and deliver mature, production-ready designs.
• Contribute to the evolution of engineering processes, tools, and design standards across the team.
• Mentor and support colleagues, fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices within the department.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to lead technical efforts within complex engineering programs.
• Understanding of product lifecycle stages and the challenges of developing systems for demanding environments.
• Experience with 3D CAD and simulation tools.
