We are world leaders in the production of port and shipyard feasibility studies, master plans, and designs. From our Maritime offices across the UK, we lead all the company’s Shipyard projects collaborating with colleagues globally.

Examples of recent projects include the design of a lock for a new port in India with sliding caisson gates, the design of the newest, largest, and most technically advanced shipyard in the Middle East with three dry docks covering an area of over 1,000 hectares, above and below water assessment of a set of dock gates in the North East of England, and providing continuous significant support to our various UK Naval Bases.

The Role

This role will provide great exposure to local and global projects alike, whilst working with the leading professionals within the maritime and shipyard sector.

The role will require you to use your technical and practical experience to develop engineering design solutions for maritime civil engineering structures and dock/lock gates in ports and shipyards, using steel, concrete, timber, and other materials to relevant design codes.

You will have engineering input in all project stages from inception, through design and construction, to demolition, recycling, and reuse.

Your technical and commercial experience, and liaison with multi-disciplinary teams will be vital to the success of the projects you work on.
