Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Naval Architect specialized in Marine Power and Propulsion systems to define requirements, design, and select equipment. The candidate should be capable of critically evaluating various options to meet customer needs in performance, quality, and cost.

Key skills required for this role

  • Designing marine Power and Propulsion systems and hydraulic cooling systems for a USV project

Important

  • Designing marine Power and Propulsion and hydraulic cooling systems for a USV project
  • Experience in requirement definition, design, and equipment selection for Marine Power and Propulsion systems
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, or leading projects
  • Responsibility for the design of Power and Propulsion systems and interfacing requirements
  • Experience leading and delivering engineering design packages
  • Knowledge of Engineering Life Cycle Management
  • Degree in a related engineering field
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Chartered engineer status with a relevant professional body

Desirable

  • Experience with small boat power and propulsion systems
  • Knowledge of naval ship design, build, integration, support, and operation
