Job summary

Le rôle implique la création de contrôles de fabrication, l'application des principes Lean et le développement des technologies d'ingénierie aérospatiale de la prochaine génération. Les candidats doivent avoir un diplôme et une expérience en fabrication aérospatiale.

Qualifications

• Diplôme en ingénierie ou équivalent.
• Expérience en environnement de fabrication précise/aérospatiale.
• Connaissance des principes Lean et Lean Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Créer et valider les contrôles de fabrication pour les processus d'usinage.
• Appliquer des méthodes Lean Six Sigma pour améliorer la capacité de fabrication.
• Identifier et éliminer les sources de non-conformité.

The responsibilities of the Principal Manufacturing Engineer role are as follows:

• Create, validate and establish the manufacturing controls for the detailed operations within the machining processes
• Provide fixtures and process instructions which deliver solutions within agreed timescales and to an agreed cost
• Identify and eliminate, within the documented method, all potential sources of non-conformance utilising PFMEA risk mitigation, yield analysis, process surveillance and lean engineering
• Apply Lean Six Sigma principals and methods to achieve world class manufacturing capability

The skills required to fulfil the role of Principal Manufacturing Engineer are as follows:

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience
• High degree of competence in complex, precision manufacturing processes, systems and inspection processes
• Driving pFMEA & Control Plan controlled manufacture
• Lean knowledge and experience
• Experience of working in a precision / aerospace manufacturing environment
