A leading insurance company in Redhill is looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to lead technical projects and implement MLOps best practices. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and requires strong expertise in ML technologies such as Azure Databricks and Python. You will play a key role in transforming models into production-ready systems and mentoring colleagues. Competitive salary range is £85,000 to £95,000 with additional benefits including a performance-based bonus and contributory pension scheme.
We’re currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our team as a key technical authority and thought leader for our ML Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in working across the organization to define & implement MLOps best practices. Your responsibilities include driving the improvement of technical delivery quality, guiding solution development and delivery, and providing expertise in a wide range of applications and technologies. Collaboration with data scientists, data engineers, solution engineers, and other stakeholders will be essential to ensure the smooth integration of machine learning models into production systems. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025.
