Position Summary:

OLG is hiring a Lead Process Engineer to lead process delivery within a project environment, executing consultancy and design work across various industry sectors.

The role requires an experienced process engineer with strong knowledge of process design from concept to detailed design, particularly in chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

The candidate should be a Chartered Engineer with 10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably with consultancy or contracting background. Experience with chemical engineering design software (e.g., ASPEN, PEL) and leadership or coaching skills are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Leadership: Manage process delivery within projects, ensure compliance, and develop personal expertise.
2. Project Delivery: Lead process teams, liaise with clients and project managers, ensure design standards, and manage technical risks.
3. Continuous Improvement: Develop procedures and standards, identify process development opportunities.
4. Business Development: Support sales efforts, lead proposal development, and scope of work preparation.

Other Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering recognized by IChemE.
• Knowledge of process safety regulations and hazard classification (DSEAR, etc.).
• Experience in commissioning or similar roles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Legal right to work in the UK and a UK Driving Licence.
• 23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
