Job Description:

Overview: The Electronics Function in Edinburgh is seeking a dynamic Lead Firmware Engineer to develop complex firmware for Radars and Electro Optics Groups. Candidates should have a degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with FPGA specialization.

Responsibilities: Design and develop firmware, manage development activities, and deliver solutions. Provide technical guidance on FPGA design and verification techniques including VHDL, SystemVerilog, and UVM.

Work Environment: Mainly office-based with occasional work in labs and production environments. Remote work may be possible depending on security requirements.

Additional Requirements: Ability to meet tight deadlines, occasional UK and overseas travel with overnight stays.
