Principal Lawyer - Planning & Highways, Bedfordshire

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Bedfordshire for an experienced planning lawyer to take on a Principal Lawyer role on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will lead a team of lawyers, providing innovative and pragmatic legal advice on planning, development, and highways matters to public sector clients.

Requirements:

• An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE.
• Experience handling complex planning caseloads within a local government environment.
• Experience leading a team of planning lawyers in a local government setting.
• Ability to attend the Bedfordshire office on a hybrid basis (2 days per week).

The salary ranges from £60,600 to £75,200 per annum, depending on experience.
