Job summary

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) is seeking a Principal IT Systems Engineer to lead and shape enterprise platforms across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will act as a trusted technical authority, driving design, resilience and automation while mentoring engineers and guiding platform standards.

The role demands deep infrastructure expertise with cloud capabilities and strong stakeholder management in a complex enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Infrastructure, Systems or Platform Engineering in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong expertise in Azure and modern cloud technologies.
• Advanced automation and Infrastructure as Code skills, including Terraform, PowerShell and Ansible.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong understanding of platform engineering, CI/CD and observability.
• Experience influencing technical direction and engineering standards.
• Broad infrastructure knowledge across Windows, Linux, networking and enterprise platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

At Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC), we're looking for a Principal IT Systems Engineer to join our IT Operations and Engineering team.

This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced engineer who combines deep infrastructure expertise with modern cloud and platform engineering capabilities. You'll play a key role in shaping and supporting our enterprise technology platforms across on-premises and cloud environments, acting as a trusted technical authority and escalation point across the business.
