Job Description

The role involves leading and delivering power plant integrity assessments, developing risk-based inspection strategies, providing technical support to clients, producing technical reports, creating proposals, mentoring engineers, and staying updated on standards and legislation. Site visits within the UK and abroad are expected.

Candidates should have experience in:

  • Integrity assessment of power plant components (low/high temperature, fracture mechanics, finite element analysis)
  • Legislative compliance (UK PSSR)
  • Power plant inspection (pressure parts, boiler surveys), understanding materials, damage mechanisms, and life assessment
  • Mechanical engineering, operations, and maintenance of power plants
