JAB Recruitment is currently looking for 2 x Principal Instrument Engineers for an Aberdeen-based client. Immediate starts available.
These are contract roles with LTD and PAYE options considered.
The positions are project-based in the city centre, with a minimum duration of 4 months.
Hybrid working model (WFH Monday and Friday).
The roles involve working with the end client on SVT and decommissioning projects.
The role
Supporting construction output on the project, duties include liaising with the client, conducting meetings to understand requirements, and providing safe and efficient solutions.
• Review constructability of project plans and work packs.
• Identify efficiencies in project execution.
• Interface between the client construction team and management.
• Manage and challenge client expectations during planning and execution.
• Review construction work packs, remedial scopes, and CCHPs as per client scope, ensuring quality of information.
• Collaborate with the construction team to prepare work packs for detailed scope execution.
• Ensure sufficient information is available for planned construction tasks.
• Review trade requirements and durations for long-term planning, optimizing cost and trade mix.
• Share findings and lessons learned with the client construction manager.
