We are seeking a Principal ICA Engineer to play a vital role in instrumentation and control/automation engineering for transformational programmes in critical UK infrastructure. Opportunities include working on iconic engineering projects domestically and internationally.

Our expertise spans instrumentation and control/automation across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide comprehensive engineering solutions throughout project lifecycles, including client support and construction phases. Currently, opportunities are available in our Bristol office.

Your Purpose:
  • Lead a team in technical design following standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
  • Collaborate with UK and overseas teams for integrated design solutions.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring:
  • Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
  • Experience in leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
  • Knowledge of ICA design, PLC and SCADA systems, motor control, system architecture, fieldbus networks, P&ID's, ATEX, functional safety, control specifications, and system requirements in industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in digital analysis tools and adherence to standards.
