Overview

Are you an experienced Hydraulic Modeller or Senior Hydraulic Modeller looking to develop your career? Are you interested in working within an innovative, multidisciplinary consultancy on a diverse range of projects? Due to new projects in the water industry, we are expanding our Hydraulic Modelling team in Leicester. This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career in hydraulic modelling and catchment management.

The role involves leading and supporting the team in developing computer-based hydraulic models, GIS data analysis, and producing documentation and reports to mitigate flooding, pollution, and service performance issues in urban drainage systems.

Our key clients include Severn Trent, Irish Water, United Utilities, and the Government of Jersey, along with well-known residential developers.

About You

Our ideal Senior Hydraulic Modeller should have:

• The ability to verify hydraulic models with minimal supervision
• Experience in extracting outputs from hydraulic models for investigations and inquiries
• Capability to manage a workload with varying delivery milestones
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• Experience in delegation and supporting/monitoring work undertaken by others
• Experience in developing fee proposals and managing project costs
