Job Opportunity: Power Systems Engineer

Join a large consultancy specializing in renewables and Power-to-X projects with offices across the country and a hybrid working model. Salary up to £80,000 DOE.

We have partnered with a leading consultancy operating across multiple sectors on an exciting new hire. This role is integral to the technical team, collaborating closely with the power systems, grid, and networks team.

The group aims to become a global leader in sustainability solutions, offering various technical services within this sector. This position is within the renewable energy consultancy arm, working on onshore and offshore wind, solar, BESS, and Power-To-X projects.

Having grown significantly due to impressive funding, the team now explores new technologies and works with diverse industry players, making each day unique.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical skills in power systems modelling, feasibility studies, and regulatory assessments.
  • Providing expert advice on UK grid regulations and grid code compliance.
  • Liaising with DNOs, TSO, and NESO for grid offers on behalf of clients.
  • Supporting clients in grid connection agreements and negotiations.
  • Mentoring junior engineers in their professional development.
