Job summary

Nscale seeks a Principal Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end GPU infrastructure solutions for demanding AI workloads. You will own designs across compute, networking, storage, and orchestration, guiding customers and collaborating with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Deployment teams.

Main focus is translating complex requirements into scalable architectures, using Kubernetes, Slurm, and IaC to accelerate design, validation, and deployment readiness, while ensuring reliability

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, infrastructure engineering, HPC, or large-scale data centre environments.
• Proven ability to translate complex customer requirements into detailed technical architectures and implementation plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infra and performance challenges.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end GPU infrastructure solutions tailored to customer requirements and AI workloads.
• Architect GPU cluster configurations, including rack layouts, power, cooling, and NVLink/NVSwitch domains.
• Define storage architectures and data pipelines to support large-scale AI training and inference.
• Architect control plane and management systems, including monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Engage directly with customers to understand requirements, translate to technical designs, and guide decisions.
• Drive performance validation, benchmarking, and deployment readiness with automation and IaC.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with capabilities.
