Inspire Resourcing is recruiting a Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer on behalf of our client in Stockport. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable business with a dedicated team.

The role requires a high level of technical expertise, with authority to approve all types of technical reports produced by GeoCon, including:

• Business Development: acquiring new clients and projects within the Manchester and Northwest area.
• Preparation and management of quotes, delegating tasks to the quoting team.
• Maintaining and developing client relationships.
• Phase I Preliminary Risk Assessments.
• Phase II Site Investigation Reports.
• Phase III Remediation Strategies.
• Phase IV Validation and Verification for gas and land contamination.
• Coal Mining Risk Assessments.
• Soakaway Investigations.
• Preparation of environmental and geotechnical reports, including factual and interpretative reports, Conceptual Site Models (CSM), and contaminated land risk assessments.
• Executing investigation techniques with a high level of technical understanding.
• Mentoring junior staff.
• Good management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Being an active part of the team, working well within it.
• Liaising with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Supporting and supervising junior staff in daily tasks.
• Assisting with general office tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a senior geoenvironmental role.
