Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant/Engineer

As a Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of infrastructure and utilities projects, as well as specialized niche projects. Your responsibilities will include managing contaminated land investigations, designing and overseeing remediation strategies, and mentoring a team of skilled professionals. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  1. A degree in geology, environmental science, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
  2. Extensive experience in contaminated land assessment, remediation, and project management.
  3. Strong knowledge of UK environmental regulations and guidelines.
  4. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects from conception to completion.
  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring junior staff.
  6. Chartered status or working towards it (e.g., CGeol, CEnv) is highly desirable.
  7. The right to live and work in the UK.
