We seek a highly motivated Senior or Principal Geo-environmental Consultant to join our Ground Assessment team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious team with prospects for career progression. We offer flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
You will primarily support the delivery of UK infrastructure programmes in the water sector, working with key clients such as Yorkshire Water and United Utilities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams, providing support and advice to contractors.
The key focus will be providing technical management and specialist input across project stages, particularly in material characterisation and contaminated site management. The role may also include team management, project management, client relationship management, business development, and strategic support, depending on your interests and experience.

You will be degree-qualified in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a relevant field, and a chartered member of a professional institution (e.g., the Geological Society). Additional certifications like SiLC, SQP, or CL:AIRE are advantageous.
You are an excellent communicator with proven ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, and to network professionally with peers. Solid experience in land quality evaluation and contaminated site management within a consulting environment is essential.
