Salary: £70,000 - £95,000 + benefits

We are currently working on a really exciting Principal Firmware Engineer opportunity with a client in the Automotive, Defence, and Aerospace sectors.

You will be a subject matter expert, leading all Embedded Software Development and BSW area work, whilst guiding and mentoring a talented team of engineers around you.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to shape architecture and drive innovation at the core of their tech roadmap, work on impactful projects, whilst mentoring and helping a team around you.

What we're looking for:

• Subject matter expert in Embedded C (and MISRA C)
• Solid experience with AUTOSAR, BSW, and MCAL
• Experience working on inverters and motors
• Proven leadership in firmware or embedded teams
• Knowledge of V-cycle development, functional safety and ideally ASPICE environments
