Job summary

Brandon James in London is seeking a Principal Fire Safety Engineer to lead a portfolio of complex fire engineering projects from design through to completion. You will own client relationships, mentor junior engineers and help shape the growth of a major industry consultancy.

The ideal candidate has strong consultancy experience, a relevant degree, Chartered status or clear path to Chartership, and a proven track record in Fire Strategies and UK fire safety standards. Salary flexible DOE.

• Strong experience within fire engineering consultancy.
• A relevant degree in Fire Engineering, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience producing Fire Strategies and technical fire engineering reports.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, guidance and standards.
• Experience managing projects and communicating directly with clients.
• Chartered status, or a clear ambition to achieve Chartership.
• The drive to develop into a senior technical or leadership position.
