Overview :

Reporting into the Finance leader for Tech & Licensing, the Principal Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing various aspects of Horizon’s consolidated planning and management reporting processes. The role will work across the finance organization, partnering with BU Finance, Commercial Finance, and Controllership, to manage all aspects of FP&A. This role will serve as the direct Finance Partner for Horizon’s centralized Functional Leadership team members, including Marketing, HR, IT, Legal, Facilities, and Operational Excellence. Finally, the role will work closely with Revvity’s Corporate FP&A COE in India to communicate Horizon’s results and financial forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage forecasting, reporting, annual planning, and strategic long-range planning processes across Horizon; partner with BU and Commercial finance teams to ensure effective communication and execution of requirements
  2. Partner with Horizon’s VP/GM and Leadership Team to inform critical decisions, by leveraging insights and data analytics
  3. Manage all central G&A and Operational budgets, including support for CapEx and Headcount requirements
  4. Analyze financial results and variances, provide insightful commentary, and generate content for monthly and quarterly Corporate deliverables and business reviews
  5. Provide support for business reviews and operating rhythms (monthly and quarterly closes)
  6. Partner with Horizon and broader revvity organizations to develop, implement, and oversee standard monthly / quarterly management reporting packages, including relevant analysis and commentary
  7. Manage FP&A’s core reporting system (Adaptive) in conjunction with controllership and IT
  8. Develop and continuously optimize processes, systems and tools for reporting and analyzing key business drivers
  9. Finance business partner for the tech licensing franchise for Horizon (BioP and Base Editing), including full P&L ownership, deal formation & review
  10. Provide support for ad-hoc requests and project-based needs

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in corporate finance for a multi-national, matrixed organization, OR
  • Master’s degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance with 6+ years’ experience in finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Possesses a strong sense of ethics and high level of integrity
  • Strategic thinker, self-starter with strong sense of ownership, bias for action and results, always driving improvements, simplification & transparency
  • Ability to prioritize, manage expectations, and deliver on commitments
  • Ability to communicate, partner, and influence both cross-functionally and in a matrixed environment across all levels of the organization
  • Executive presence and ability to work closely with the senior leadership team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be an analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Pays attention to detail and accuracy of information
  • Familiarity with Adaptive, D365, HFM, Essbase, Salesforce, and PowerBI a plus
