Job Description:

My Local Government client is looking to recruit 2 Principal Finance Business Partners to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Deputy Director of Finance, you will be responsible for providing effective financial advice and support to Budget Managers, assisting them in managing their business to meet financial and performance targets. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of assigned budgets, reporting variances to relevant Directors.

A key part of the role involves deputising for the Deputy Head of Finance and being the lead financial officer for assigned services, with a thorough understanding of funding arrangements including grants and financial processes within the services.

Candidates should be part-qualified CCAB accountants with some local government finance experience.

The roles are permanent, with a requirement to be in the office one day every two weeks. The salary range is £45,700 to £48,700.
