An exciting part-time opportunity for a qualified Commercial Team Leader/Principal Environmental Health Practitioner is available with a leading organization in the SW of England. This role focuses on enforcing food safety legislation, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with environmental health standards. Candidates must have a degree in Environmental Health and be EHRB registered, bringing recent enforcement experience to ensure high standards across multiple sites.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Commercial Team Leader/Principal Environmental Health Practitioner who has detailed knowledge of the law relating to Food Safety, Environmental Health issues, and investigative techniques. To apply for this role, you must possess a Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health and be EHRB registered.
Recent experience and competency in the enforcement of food safety legislation are essential. You must also be competent under the provisions of the FLCOP to inspect high-risk food businesses for food safety and food standards and to use the full range of enforcement powers available to the profession.
Management experience is highly desirable, as you will be managing a small but busy team of Officers and will also be expected to undertake and manage your own caseload of more complex matters. Therefore, the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines is crucial.
You will need a valid driving licence, as you will be required to travel to various locations across the city.
