Principal Environmental Health Officer

£45,718 - £49,764 pro rata per annum

21 hours per week (Job share)

We are seeking a Principal EHO to join our Environmental Health Team, which plays a vital role in safeguarding public health and environmental quality within our borough. You will be responsible for one or more of the main environmental health specialisms.

This position is offered on a job share basis (21 hours per week), working alongside our existing Principal EHO. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Environmental Health Officer with significant professional experience in environmental protection, food safety, housing, or health and safety. You should be a team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
